Infrared Train Detection Sensor

Description

The IRSB is a simple and sophisticated infrared train detection sensor.  The sensor can detect most rail cars reliably.  The IRSB is not affected by types of lighting that emit infrared light, because of its sophisticated design.

The sensor is tiny, able to fit between N-scale rails.  The sensor body is one rigid unit, fitting within a single tie-crib.  A ribbon cable connects the sensor to the IR- PAD module (signal or general detection) or XIR (crossing applications) module.

Each sensor allows Plug N Play functionality due to its ribbon cable design.

Standard sensors come with a 6″ / 15 cm ribbon cable.  Sensors can be ordered with 12″ / 30 cm ribbons.
