Description

Signal Driver Module for DBM

***NOTE: THIS PRODUCT CURRENTLY CAN ONLY BE PURCHASED BY CONTACTING US DIRECTLY***

The SDM is an output card for use with the DBM signal controller.  There are different versions of the SDM to allow for common-anode (CA), common-cathode (CC) and bi-color LED applications.

Capability

Each SDM has 8 output pins.  For CA and CC versions, eight (8) LEDs can be driven.  For BC versions, 4 bi-color LEDs can be driven from a card.  Each card is equipped with built-in limiting resistors so that you do not need to add your own.

Signal Assignments

The DBM allows for multiple signals to be defined per SDM, such as signals with a single head of R/Y/G (3 outputs).  A signal can be assigned partially to one SDM and span into the next slot if a SDM module is present.  This allows for compact assignment of signals as well as large signal definitions of greater than eight (8) LEDs.
